Our VTA underground tank enables the safe underground storage and dosing of liquid products and serves to combat odours. The tank is mainly used in pumping stations in the municipal sector.

Underground tank

The VTA underground tank provides space for VTA system products designed to neutralise foul odours. VTA Calcoferrit can be conveniently stored and dosed for example.

Solution

The challenge

Odour from sewers

When holding times are long and water levels are low, microorganisms produce more hydrogen sulphide. The characteristic smell of rotten eggs emerges

Our solution

VTA underground tank with integrated dosing station

System products for odour control such as VTA Calcoferrit® are stored in underground tanks and introduced into sewers in situ.

The result

Ideal for odour control in combination with VTA Calcoferrit®

  • Economical dosing and
  • safe storage underground and close to its place of use.

Possible combination

VTA UNDERGROUND TANK TOGETHER WITH VTA CALCOFERRIT® AND H2S SENSOR

The question of how odour-neutralising products are best stored and how they can be dosed arises in the day-to-day use of odour control agents in pumping stations.

Between 1 and 3 m3  of system products can be stored and dosed using the VTA underground tank.

The underground tank is extremely resistant due to its corrugated profile design.

It can reliably withstand compressive stresses from the ground earth.

For safety reasons, a leakage sensor for monitoring is housed between the outer shell and the inner tank.
