Hungary is another Eastern European market of the future that VTA is increasingly focussing on. Among other things, the dosing systems from VTA subsidiary Eurodos are attracting lively interest from its Pannonian neighbours. "We have already been able to place several systems on the Hungarian market," reports Heinrich Macht. The former Managing Director of Huber SE in Austria has represented VTA in Hungary since 2011 with the support of Janos Bohm.
Eurodos has realised a particularly interesting project together with Huber Technology: A 3K- 1000 dosing system was installed at the car manufacturer Magyar Suzuki Kft. in Esztergom, which is now being used together with a Huber screw press for sludge dewatering.
Sludge produced in the automotive industry is naturally not easy to handle. For this reason, Magyar Suzuki also uses system products and polymers from VTA to optimise the conditioning of the sludge for dewatering.
Pleasing results at Suzuki
The employees responsible at the car manufacturer are very satisfied with the Eurodos dosing system: it is extremely easy to maintain and achieves pleasingly good results; polymer consumption has fallen significantly compared to all the products previously used.
Other companies, including Nestlé's production plant in the western Hungarian town of Buk, are already using Eurodos systems. In addition to sales, VTA is therefore also establishing a comprehensive service structure in order to be equipped for the special requirements of the Magyar market.
