Nanotechnology
The uniqueness of VTA products lies in the use of nanotechnology, which makes it possible to remove more than 99% of pollutants from wastewater and thus purify it more effectively than conventional treatment stages. This technology offers a cost-effective alternative to the fourth purification stage and enables municipalities to save up to eight billion euros annually.
The fourth treatment stage is being introduced in order to remove the widest possible range of micropollutants. This treatment can affect all municipal wastewater treatment plants with a load of 10,000 inhabitants or more.
