"We've had really good experiences!" This is how Robert Springer summarises his more than ten years of cooperation with VTA in good Upper Bavarian. He is the wastewater manager in Wolnzach, a market town in the Holledau region, the largest contiguous hop-growing area in the world.
VTA has always been able to offer precise solutions for the previous, ageing wastewater treatment plant in Wolnzach. So it almost goes without saying that the successful co-operation will also be continued in the future 15,000-EW plant, which - with the exception of sludge treatment - was built from scratch.
As much as necessary, as little as possible: true to this motto, dosing technology from VTA subsidiary Eurodos will ensure that VTA products are optimally integrated into the plant operation. DI Wolfgang Payrhuber (Eurodos) and VTA process engineer Bernhard Scheuringer designed a precipitant station that is precisely tailored to the requirements in Wolnzach - naturally in accordance with the requirements of § 19 WHG (Water Resources Act).
Safety first
The double-walled PE storage tank with a usable capacity of 25 cubic metres contains all the components that characterise Eurodos products. These include extensive safety features such as overfill protection, leakage probes, lift-out protection valve, etc. The attached dosing cabinet contains, among other things, two dosing pumps. The scope of delivery also includes a filling and discharge line, cable pull level indicator and a ladder with platform.
Experience and expertise are also incorporated into service and maintenance, which can be arranged by means of a maintenance contract. At the customer's request, VTA can also take care of the TÜV inspection of the precipitant station.
"Our systems increase operational reliability through continuous dosing and minimise the risk of failure. And they increase cost-effectiveness because larger batches can be purchased and stored," says DI Payrhuber from Eurodos. Added to this are technical sophistication, environmental friendliness and an excellent price-performance ratio.
"The process was quick and smooth, and a contact person was always available for us," reports Robert Springer from Wolnzach. He is also highly satisfied with the commissioning and instruction provided by the experts from Eurodos and VTA.
