VTA Managing Director appointed Professor of Innovation Management
Prof. Ing. Mag. DDr. h. c. Ulrich Kubinger, founder of the internationally active VTA Group, was officially appointed Professor of Innovation Management at the United International Schools (UIS) in Malta at the research campus in Rottenbach.
In addition to representatives of the UIS, members of the Order of Malta were also present at the ceremony.
The award recognizes his outstanding achievements in environmental technology and his combination of practice and science. His patented VTA Nanocarbon® process in particular is attracting attention throughout Europe—it efficiently removes microplastics, drug residues, and bacteria from wastewater without high costs for municipalities.
“Knowledge is there to be passed on,” says Kubinger. In the future, he would like to contribute his experience to MBA programs and inspire young talent.
UIS Rector Sonja Keppler emphasizes: “His innovative spirit enriches our education and brings real benefits to our students.”
