Technical Project Manager – Piping and Plant Construction (m/f)

As a Technical Project Manager in pipeline and plant engineering, you take overall responsibility for the technical and commercial management of demanding industrial projects — from preparing the offer to successful handover — as part of an internationally active company with branches in over 65 countries.

Responsibilities

• Technical and commercial project management in pipeline and plant engineering (ideally prior experience in plastic tank construction)
• Active management of existing customer relationships
• Preparation, costing and follow-up of offers and project calculations
• Conducting contract, pricing and change-order negotiations in close coordination with internal specialist departments
• Central interface between engineering, procurement, logistics, quality and external partners
• Managing project teams across multiple departments
• Ongoing monitoring of costs, schedules, quality and project risks

• Processing claims, change orders and deviations with customers and suppliers

   

Requirements

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, university) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar
• Several years of professional experience in project execution of pipeline or industrial plants
• Strong commercial acumen as well as experience in bidding and contract management
• German-speaking with business-fluent English skills
• Willingness to travel throughout Europe (approx. 25%)
• Independent, assertive working style with strong decision-making ability

• Strong communication skills and a confident presence in customer environments
