Field Chemist – Water and Environmental Technology (m/f)

As a field service chemist, you combine your solid scientific expertise with technical consulting skills – you look after our customers directly on site and support them in the optimal application of our products in water and wastewater treatment – as part of an internationally active company with subsidiaries in over 65 countries.

Responsibilities

• Technical and chemical consultation and on-site support for our customers
• Carrying out analyses, trials and product applications directly at customer facilities
• Optimization of dosages and process workflows in water and wastewater treatment
• Preparation of test reports, application protocols and technical recommendations
• Training and instruction of customer personnel
• Close cooperation with sales, application engineering and product development
• Acquisition of new customers and market development in the assigned region
• Reporting and market monitoring

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry, environmental chemistry, process engineering or a comparable field
• Experience in water or wastewater chemistry is a major advantage
• Enjoy working in direct contact with customers and a confident manner
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working
• Willingness to travel extensively
• German-speaking; good knowledge of English is advantageous
• Class B driving license
