Metalworker – Metal Fabrication and Plant Engineering (m/f)

As a metalworker, you manufacture, assemble and maintain metal structures and plant components – as part of an internationally operating company with branches in over 65 countries.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assembly of metal structures, subassemblies and plant components
• Welding work (MIG/MAG, TIG, electrode) on various materials
• Assembly and repair of piping, vessels and steel structures
• Reading and implementing technical drawings and manufacturing plans
• Measuring and cutting of sheets, profiles and pipes
• Maintenance, repair and servicing of machines and equipment
• Quality control of your own work according to drawings and specifications
• Participation in on-site installations at the customer's premises

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a fitter, metalworker, structural steel fitter, machine fitter or similar
• Several years of professional experience in metal or plant construction
• Good welding skills (valid welding certificates are an advantage)
• Confident reading of technical drawings
• Independent, precise way of working
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility
• German-speaking
• Driver's license B; willingness to travel for installations is an advantage
